Investment bank buys solar projects for millions in the UK

US energy company TerraForm Power has sold a large portion of its solar power projects to a major investment bank.

Middle Eastern investment bank EFG Hermes is expanding its presence on the European solar power market with the acquisition of projects in the UK for USD 580 million (EUR 550 million), writes Recharge.

The seller behind the many projects is TerraForm Power, which primarily operates within wind and solar power in the US.
