
Energy company Scottish Power has won the rights to construct two giant offshore wind farms in the US. The company estimates that it has the strongest pipeline in the area.
The two wind farms are made up of the 1,500 MW Vineyard Wind project south of Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts, and a unnamed project in North Carolina, which will boast up to 2,500 MW capacity.
