French firm buys into UK offshore wind project

Engie is spending over EUR 23 million for a fourth of an aspiring, GW sized offshore wind project. 

Offshore wind project Moray East has acquired new owners. The Portuguese company EDPR has sold 26 percent of the potential 1,116 MW project off the northern coast of Scotland to the French energy company Engie amounting to GBP 21 million (EUR 23.8 million), announced EDPR.
