Turbine manufacturers flock to new test center in Germany

Several leading wind turbine manufacturers have bought slots in a new test center near Husum in Germany. The race to develop the best new wind turbines in northern Europe just got more close.

Wind turbine test centers in northern Europe are growing more competitive. Denmark, with expansion of the Østerild test center, is investing heavily in growing facilities for the testing of large turbines while test centers are also popping up in northern Germany as well.
