KK Wind Solutions is going full-steam ahead with its plans to enter the Indian wind turbine market. This occurs with the acquisition of the Italian gear manufacturer Bonfiglioli's control cabinet production in India, which is also expanding in the region with the establishment of a new factory close to existing facilities in Bangalore. The takeover will be finalized Sept. 1.

Last March, KK Wind pulled out of a Chinese joint venture with the company Chongqing. An ambition, which has now resulted in the establishment of an Indian subsidiary.
