Dong to earn big on strong offshore wind growth, but many suppliers are struggling

While utility Ørsted is poised to earn big on its offshore wind turbines, several suppliers of wind turbines are struggling to make solid, profitable earnings.

While the market for offshore wind turbines grows, and Ørsted (formerly Dong Energy) looks set to double its billion-kroner earnings from this source in four years, several companies delivering wind turbines, foundations and cables are struggling to make decent returns.
