Danish firm K2 management is acquiring UK consultancy firm Prevailing. In buying a competitor specialized within energy analysis of wind and solar projects, K2 is expanding its current 120-strong staff by a fifth and strengthening its presence in the UK, Germany, US, and Australia.

"It's not like we're just buying a simple factory. Prevailing is a company with a very strong and well-documented expertise in its area, and this is an acquisition that we expect to get a lot out of," says K2's CEO, Henrik Stamer.
