Vestas launches expanded turbine for China

The Danish turbine maker hopes that using a new rotor on its best-selling machine will help the company conquer the specific Chinese region where there are fewer obstacles to wind power.

Vestas is launching a new V120 turbine on the Chinese market, announces the company ahead of the annual China Wind Power conference.

The turbine with a blade span of 120 meters will be available in two versions with generators of 2.0 MW and 2.2 MW, respectively, and will be manufactured at Vestas' factory in Tianjin.
