Wind supplier: "There is price pressure, but you have to stay positive"

Lower prices for wind turbines hurt in the short term but mean a bigger market in the long term, says Danish wind industry supplier Nordmark Maskinfabrik.

There is no growth strategy and there are no complaints about the fact that wind majors such as Vestas expect annual price declines of a few percent.

But apparently there is major adaptability, willingness to take on risk, and opportunistic thinking at Danish Nordmark Maskinfabrik, which supplies steel and iron components to the world's largest wind turbines.
