Statkraft sells its last offshore wind stake to Chinese consortium

Norwegian utility Statkraft will earn GBP 555 million from the sale of a smaller stake of UK offshore wind farm Dudgeon Offshore Wind. With the divestment, Statkraft has now entirely pulled out of offshore wind.

From a mostly Norwegian ownership, the large UK offshore wind farm Dudgeon Offshore Wind will now become far more international.  Norwegian utility Statkraft, which until now owned 30 percent of the farm, is selling its share to a Chinese consortium lead by China Resources Holdings.
