Siemens has been suspended by Statnett, as the Norwegian system operator has discovered underpaid employees at a Siemens subcontractor.
While Statnett has given Siemens several deadlines to document that the matter has been resolved, this has not happened. So Statnett has decided to suspend Siemens in the sense that Siemens will lose its status as qualified to place offers on Statnett projects until the matter has been resolved.
