Siemens Gamesa lands offshore wind order from Ørsted
Mini project Formosa 1 in Taiwan is on track for a growth spurt with help from the wind turbine manufacturer, which calls the order "an important milestone for the development of offshore wind in the region."
Wind turbine manufacturer Siemens Gamesa has just announced an order for 120 MW to Taiwan. The turbines will be installed as an expansion of the Formosa 1 farm of 8 MW, where owners include Ørsted.
