SSE increases offshore wind ambitions with acquisition
The Scottish company has bought out its partner in the company Seagreen, which is currently developing several offshore wind projects.
SSE has taken over Fluor's 50 percent stake in Seagreen Wind Energy Limited for an undisclosed amount.
This leaves SSE ownership of the entire company, which is developing the projects Alpha and Bravo, as part of Seagreen Phase 1.
