UK energy traders collapse in droves
Many UK-based energy traders are expected to close shop this year after number of players were dissolved in 2018. Big utilities want tighter licensing requirements for the sector that has expanded massively in recent years.

British energy trader One Select, which serviced 36,000 gas and electricity customers, closed a few days ago as the latest in a series of energy sector collapses – and more bankruptcies are likely to follow, reports Financial Times.
