France's Engie goes green, pulls out of 20 countries

French utility Engie is investing billions in renewables in an effort to transform the company, which is also planning to withdraw from 20 countries.

2018 was not a memorable year for Engie, financially-speaking. While the company can celebrate a small increase in revenue and operating profit, the 2018 report also showed a lagging bottom line. However, it marks a huge shift for the company, which announced billions in renewable energy investments.
