Vattenfall upgrades hydro facilities

The Swedish utility is upgrading its hydroelectric plants with 600 MW, simultaneously improving its facilities' flexibility to better assist the green energy transition.

Vattenfall continues its hydroelectric plant upgrade project from 2015. The utility is spending around SEK 1 billion (EUR 94 million) annually, and that should result in an additional 600 MW capacity by 2023.
