Ørsted reorganizes business divisions

The utility's long-serving Bioenergy EVP is leaving the company, which consolidates two business units in preparation to sell domestic DSO Radius.

Wind power is Ørsted's dominant focus area. If there was any doubt about that after the utility divested its oil and gas division, the company now reaffirms as much in force. The two business units that do not involve wind turbines – Customer Solutions and Bioenergy & Thermal Energy – are now being consolidated into a single division: Markets & Bioenergy, Ørsted informs in a statement.
