Modest improvement in Vattenfall's first half

One-time effects reduce utility Vattenfall's bottom line as the company exits the first half of 2019 with minor advancement in earnings.

Swedish utility Vattenfall finished the first half of the year with only a marginal improvement in earnings driven by rising power prices early on in the year, according to the company's first-half financial report, published on Friday.
