Tough UK market yields setback for Innogy

The German utility sees all items recede in the second quarter due to a combination of the UK market and the sale of its Czech gas grid business.

2019 has been no cakewalk for German utility Innogy, which in particular points to the price cap and tough competition in the UK as causes. However, the company maintains expectations for the year, which so far does not at all match the results of previous years, according to Innogy's H1 interim report.
