Vattenfall: Too difficult to start private market

INTERVIEW. The Swedish wind giant has long wished to sell green electricity to Danish consumers, says country manager Ole Bigum Nielsen. The solution was to buy Vindstød, but both parties are finding it difficult to explain the synergies in the partnership.

The Swedish company Vattenfall is about to become Denmark's largest operator of offshore wind turbines, but the company will not settle for simply producing green power in Denmark.
