One of Dong Energy's biggest shareholders has abandoned the ownership circle. Tuesday, Danish energy company Syd Energi (SE) sold out of its 3.6 million shares, corresponding to 0.9 percent of the total Dong shares.
The sale went for a price of DKK 256 per share – 10 points under the closing price – meaning SE earned a DKK 922 million (EUR 124 million) amount. This is in addition to the approximately DKK 3 billion that SE earned for the 10.8 million shares which the Danish company sold following Dong's IPO last June.
