Norway's first offshore wind tender is known for at least two things: It's attracting a massive number of suitors and creating more new bedfellows than a swinger club.
For instance, RWE already aired its plans last May to bid for the fixed-bottom area, Sørlige Nordsjø II, in a partnership with oil company Equinor. Now the same German utility announces its participation in the tender's second, floating section, Utsira Nord in a new consortium with NTE and Hitecvision subsidiary Havfram.
