Siemens Gamesa inks 1GW framework agreement with RWE

The turbine maker and the Germany utility agree to appoint Siemens Gamesa leading supplier of large components for RWE’s vast European onshore wind pipeline.

RWE has tapped Siemens Gamesa for a whole line of future projects. The two companies have made a framework agreement charging Siemens Gamesa with supplying wind turbines for onshore wind projects totaling 1GW in the coming years, the two companies announce in a joint statement.
