Wintershall launches production on Norwegian field earlier than expected

Norwegian field Maria has launched production just before schedule and is on target with the project, announces German oil company Wintershall.

Launching production on Norwegian oil field Maria has proved both less challenging and less expensive than expected. The Maria field, which marks the first Norwegian field wholly developed by Wintershall alone, was originally planned to begin production in the fourth quarter 2018.
