Dof secures financial restructuring deal with creditors

After years of negotiating, ailing offshore carrier Dof has secured a deal with creditors to slash debt tallying billions.

After lengthy negotiations with creditors, hard-pressed Norwegian offshore carrier Dof has secured a deal for financial restructuring, according to a press release.

Since 2019, Dof has long sought to find a viable solution for handling its NOK 18.7bn (USD 1.9bn) debt since 2019, and according to the press release, the company has now succeeded in hammering out a deal with ”a substantial group” of creditors on a ”comprehensive” financial restructuring.
