EIB gives India EUR 800 million and partners with solar alliance

International Solar Alliance and the European Investment Bank have joined forces in a partnership to finance solar projects in sunny countries.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has entered a partnership with International Solar Alliance to mobilize financing for development and implementation of solar energy in sunny countries. Meanwhile, EIB confirms its plans to invest EUR 800 million in renewable energy projects in India.
