Developer takes Senvion from India to Spain

The German manufacturer wins a contract for three smaller wind farms from the same developer that ordered 300 MW shortly before Christmas.

Senvion has received an order to supply 41 MW to three projects Saudi Arabian Alfanar Energy is developing in Spain. Wind Farms Valdeabajo, La Moratilla and Soliedra will be located in Soria in the northern region of the country, Castilla y Leon, where the facilities will be comprised of seven wind turbines  of the model 3.0M122 and six units of type 3.7M140 with a tip height of 180 meters. Installation is planned to take place this summer, and the facilities will be be commissioned in the autumn.
