Ørsted installs GE-equipped wind farm in the US

The Danish utility's US-based onshore wind developer will be installing a 230MW wind farm ahead to next year.

Yet another plum has dropped in Ørsted's North American lap. The utility's US subsidiary, Lincoln Clean Energy (LCE), has secured the final green light to get started on wind project Plum Creek in Nebraska, a project only recently settled with Ørsted's final investment decision. The 230MW facility is set to enter operation before the end of 2020, when full PTC tax credit support expires, Ørsted informs in a statement.
