Goldwind nabs order on critical growth market

A new wind turbine order for 82 MW has been secured by Goldwind, continuing the Chinese climb into South America's energy sector.

Chinese wind turbine manufacturer Goldwind has won an order for 82 MW for the Punta Sierra project in Chile. This is according to project developer Pacific Hydro, in a press release according to several Chilean media. The factory will deliver 32 of its 2.5 MW wind turbines for the USD 150 million project in Coquimpo.
