Spanish Gamesa announces big order in Chile

Wind turbine manufacturer Gamesa has received an order for 115 MW from a French/Spanish partnership.

Over the coming quarter Gamesa will deliver wind turbines to the Cabo Leones I project in Chile. EDF EN Chile, which is a subsidiary of French energy giant EDF and Spanish Ibereólica has ordered the supply, installation, and 20-years service on 55 of the Spanish wind turbine manufacturer's G114-2.1MW models. This adds up to an order of 115 MW.
