Vestas fires fewer than expected at Danish facility

After negotiations with union representatives, Vestas has reduced the number of firings at its blade factory in Lem, Denmark.

Turbine manufacturer Vestas recently announced that 350 employees at the company's blade factory in Danish city Lem would be fired.

The reason was that the Danish wind supplier wanted to optimize production and strengthen the company's competitiveness.
