Vestas gets huge Australian order

Danish wind turbine producer Vestas has secured its largest order in Australia by more than six years. With the order, Vestas will have installed more than 2 GW in the country.

A delegation from Vestas is presently in Vietnam to spread the word about wind. And that is not the only country in the region where the Danish wind turbine producer currently has a presence, after Wednesday's announcement that Vestas had closed its second order in Australia over the last few weeks. It concerns 180 MW and will be delivered to the USD 360 million (EUR 338 million) large project Mr Emerald.
