Vestas lands order for 81MW in Scotland

Vestas has secured an 81MW order from Invenergy for the Pencloe wind energy project in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.

The Danish manufacturer will supply 18 V136-4.5 MW turbines and the order includes delivery, installation and commissioning of the turbines, according to an announcement from Vestas on Friday afternoon.

The order also includes a multi-year AOM 5000 service agreement.

Turbine delivery is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2025 and the project is scheduled to be fully operational in early 2026.
