Struggling turbine manufacturer announces historic order

German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex, which saw its share price take a steep dive over the past week, now announces its largest US order ever.

Nordex has been granted an order for 285 MW in the US. The German wind turbine manufacturer has announced that the company has received an order for the installation of 95 turbines in the 3 MW series for a project, of which the names of neither the farm nor the customer have been specified. The customer is referred to as a "large international electricity supplier". It is likewise not disclosed when the turbines are expected to be installed.
