Siemens Gamesa executive is new head of offshore wind at CIP

A few days after his resignation from Siemens Gamesa, Michael Hannibal has been announced as a new partner of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners.

Michael Hannibal has been appointed to be a new partner at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. He will lead the construction, operation, and development of the company's investments in offshore wind farms in Europe, North America, and Asia, announces the company in a press release.

"I am very pleased to welcome Michael Hannibal to the CIP partnership. Michael is one of the pioneers and leading figures within offshore wind and spearheaded Siemens’ and Siemens Gamesa’s development into the globally leading offshore wind turbine supplier and service provider," says Jakob Baruel Poulsen, head of CIP.
