
The Chinese wind industry will be weaned off national subsidies.
Over the next three to five years, subsidies will be gradually phased out in China's provinces and regions, while the problem of wasted power is expected to be virtually solved by 2020, stated Liang Zhipeng, Deputy Director at the Chinese National Energy Administration's new energy department, according to Chinese media Caixin.
