Tesla launches semi truck and hyper fast roadster

After a period of bad news, dismissals and delayed production, Tesla is trying to restore optimism with the launch of a semi truck and high-speed roadster.

Thursday night local time, US e-car manufacturer Tesla unveiled two new vehicles at a Los Angeles event. First, Tesla presented its latest innovation: A semi truck which can drive 800 kilometers at highway speed with full cargo on a single charge.
