Oil industry prepares for the electric car market
Summer 2018 marks a point in time when yet another oil major invests in recharging solutions for electric cars. Danish EV recharging firm Clever however, is not worried about being outcompeted.
When looking at BP's own forecasts, it is far from a surprise that the UK gas and oil company earlier this summer opted to buy the UK's largest operator of electric cars, Chargemaster, for a little over DKK 1 billion (EUR 134.2 million).
