B&W enters battery partnership

Babcock & Wilcox and Eos Energy Storage have formed a partnership, with the former now enlisted to sell the latter's zink-based battery technology.

Babcock & Wilcox and Eos Energy Storage have entered a strategic partnership concerning batteries.

Through its subsidiary, The Babcock & Wilcox Company, B&W will market and sell Eos' battery technology to its customers. At the same time, another B&W subsidiary, Babcock & Wilcox Construction Co., has been nominated as preferred constructor to install batteries in North America.
