Everfuel acquires Norwegian filling stations

Taking over two filling stations will be Everfuel's first step toward acquiring a full-fledged network of hydrogen stations. The group remains convinced of the technology's application for passenger cars.

Everfuel hasn't exactly been idle since being spun off from Nel last fall. The Danish company has since entered partnerships with Shell on green hydrogen at an oil refinery in Fredericia, Southern Denmark, with Statkraft on hydrogen transport in Sweden and, not least, with Ørsted and other parties regarding plans to establish a Power-to-X facility of 1.7 GW at Avedøre Holme near Copenhagen.
