Northvolt has decided to scale up its presence in Poland by way of a new factory priced at USD 200 million.
The plant, to have a starting capacity of 5 GWh, will facilitate integration of batteries and systems and be ready to start production in 2022. Later, its capacity will grow to 12 GWh, Northvolt informs in a press release.
