Uber, Arrival pursue joint development of electric taxis

The basic idea behind the electric taxi is to drive a full day on a single charge and at the same be available for a price point comparable to a Toyata Prius.

Uber wants to form a partnership with UK-based electric car company Arrival to jointly develop an electric taxi meant for production next year, reports The Times.
