DNV Maritime CEO: Ammonia and methanol will first be widely available in the next decade

DNV believes that the timeline before ammonia and methanol are widely available will be rather long and could reach into the next decade, says CEO of DNV Maritime in an interview with ShippingWatch.

Classification bureau DNV does not think that ammonia and methanol will play a significant role in the transition to greener fuels in this decade, as the alternative fuels are not quite ready yet.
