CCU project wins big EU aid to mature technology

The Technical University of Denmark's Biosustain center and spin-off company Secondcircle have secured roughly EUR 11bn in EU support to advance bacteria-based carbon capture and utilization.

A seemingly promising carbon capture and utilization (CCU) technology from Denmark is awarded a substantial grant of DKK 83m (EUR 11.16m) for aiding project commercialization and establishment of a production facility in Norway.
