Haldor Topsøe is banking on green hydrogen just like many other companies these years.

The company is mainly known for its supply of catalysis products, especially for the oil and gas industry, but is working on equipment for green hydrogen production and renewable synthetic fuels.

In a matter of months, the company's chief executive expects to 150 staff working within the hydrogen business, while the group is also planning to invest a few billion Danish krones in the undertaking, reports business daily Børsen.

"We as a company want to move away from an image as an old-fashioned catalysis company. We have progressed far beyond that, and we are already in the process of taking a completely central position in the green energy transformation," says Haldor Topsøe CEO Roeland Baan to the media.
