Nexans forecasts EBITDA growth in 2022

Nexans projects growth after a year of advances in all business areas, according to the cable maker’s financial report, which was published Wednesday morning.

Nexans also presented its guidance, which included expected earnings before interest, taxes, depreciations and amortizations in the range of EUR 500-540m for 2022.

In 2021, the company saw EBITDA of EUR 463m. Estimates pooled by Bloomberg revealed expectations of EUR 456m in EBITDA against EUR 347m in 2020.

Revenue at standard metal prices grew to EUR 7.4bn against EUR 6bn in 2020.

Bottom-line profit in 2021 came to EUR 164m against EUR 80m in the previous fiscal year.
