Liquid CO2 shipping containers found for North Sea CCS project

The Greensand consortium has selected containers from a Belgian supplier for use in hauling liquid CO2 for storage under the North Sea.

The first big supply contract is now signed by the consortium behind Danish carbon capture and sequestration project Greensand seeking to store up to 1.5 million tonnes of CO2 annually from 2025.
