Nikola begins full production of electric semi trucks

The manufacturer's stock rose dramatically after the company announced being underway with full production of battery-electric semi trucks.

US-based vehicle manufacturer Nikola's stock gained 11.1 percent in US aftermarket trading Wednesday after the group revealed having started full production of battery-electric semi trucks this week at the in Coolidge, Arizona, Nikola writes in a statement.

This announcement comes earlier than expected. Nikola, which has yet to report any revenue, expects to make 300–500 semi trucks this year.
