Tesla seeks stock split, requests vote at AGM

Tesla wants shareholders’ approval for a stock split, the US electric vehicle manufacturer announces on Twitter.

Tesla has also informed the stock exchange that it will ask for authorization at the upcoming annual general meeting.

”Tesla’s board of directors has approved the management proposal,” the automaker informs.

The share price jumps 5.1 percent to 1,061.16 in pre-market trading.
