Topsoe makes final investment decision on "world's largest SOEC electrolyzer plant"

The Danish company takes a big leap forward with its plans to build an electrolyzer plant with an initial manufacturing capacity of 500MW annually, with option to expand to 5GW.

The largest plant of its kind in the world as well as the single largest investment ever made by Topsoe.

This was the announcement by Chief Executive Officer Roeland Baan back in May when the Danish company unveiled plans to build an electrolyzer plant in the town of Herning.
